A beautiful, serene space in the heart of Reading where I head for a variety of reasons and at any opportunity! I’ve visited for birthday dinners, coffee & pastel de nata catch ups with friends, lunch dates, work meetings, massage and swim packages, and to do some yoga. It combines a gorgeous outdoor pool and spa, treatment rooms, amazing restaurant and event space and is one of my favourite places in Reading. To top it off, I co-host Life Coaching & Yoga day retreats here in the event space The Changing Room. We have two dates there in 2019 so come and check it out!
Meditating… using the Calm app
Calm is a meditation and relaxation app which has hundreds of meditation podcasts. You can start with a meditation series called “7 days of calm” and learn the basics of mindfulness and meditation. If you haven’t tried meditation before, it’s a great place to start. A friend swears by it when she wakes up in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep!

It spent over 145 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list over a three-year period. Clarissa Pinkola Estes tells us about the ‘wild woman’, the wise and ageless presence in the female psyche that gives women their creativity, energy and power.
