Taking time out is a vital part of improving quality of life. A day retreat is an ideal way to step off the conveyor belt and make the most of some precious me-time in a peaceful atmosphere, reflecting and recharging your batteries.
Spaces are limited to 8 people.
The morning yoga practice will allow you to connect body, breath and mind. The restorative afternoon yoga practice will be floor-based and combine Yin yoga poses with guided meditation and Yoga Nidra to promote complete relaxation. Suitable for all levels of experience, including those newer to yoga.
Our yoga practice will take place in the gorgeous Mongolian Yurt, a warm and cosy space nestled in the countryside at Haddon Acre. Enjoy one of the best views in Oxfordshire in this peaceful spot, located on the south side of the Wittenham Clumps with panoramic views of the Chilterns.
You will appreciate the magic of being close to one of the earliest human settlements with the history being literally part of the landscape. Haddon Acre is surrounded by unspoilt farmland yet conveniently located for the Thames Valley’s major towns and attractions.
The views from the garden are of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The farmland and the Wittenham Clumps are owned by the Earth Trust and the whole area is devoted to sustainability in farming and land management. The Wittenham Clumps are the site of an Iron Age fort. The Mary and Michael ley lines conjoin on the route to the Clumps.
