Do you have tight shoulders? Tension headaches? Neck and upper back pain? Shoulders always up near your ears?
The neck and shoulder region is one of the most common problem areas in the body. Tension in the neck and shoulders can result from bad posture, lifestyle choices, habitual patterns of movement or sitting for long periods of time. Desk-bound jobs, tough deadlines and overuse of smart phones can make it worse.
Join me for this 2-hour workshop to give your neck, shoulders and upper back a big dose of self-care and self-love! Let go of tension and experience space and freedom in this part of the body.
During this workshop, we’ll explore a variety of postures to release and soften in the neck, shoulders and upper back. Plus breathwork to aid the process of letting go and finding space in the body. There will be time at the end for some restorative postures and a blissful Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) to leave you relaxed and replenished. Plus tea and homemade cake before you leave!
- Bring water and wear loose, stretchy clothing.
- Leave at least two hours between eating a meal and practising yoga.
- Bring your own mat or please let me know if you need to borrow one.
- If it is your first ever yoga class, or you are anxious about coming for the first time, please don’t be! A warm welcome awaits you.
